Cleaning Your Microwave
Microwaves are in almost every home in this tech n digital world that requires getting things done in seconds. These devices need to be handled with care if one wants to save time and energy. Every home uses microwave many times a day to heat food, liquids and other eatables plus cooking as well. This makes the oven filthy, dirty and loathsome with splashes of food, sauces, tea and coffee. A regular cleanup of oven is required, may it be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Cleaning your microwave includes both inner and outer surfaces of the oven.
Cleaning the inside:
The inside of the oven requires more cleaning than the outer surface as the walls get stuffed with hard and crusty food that flies off while boiling, heating or cooking. To clean up the inside follow these steps:
- Fill a bowl with half water and half lemon juice and place it inside the oven, and set time to 60 seconds. The steam of water and lemon juice softens the remains and makes it easy to wipe off them with a towel or soft cloth.
- The glass plate of oven can be easily removed and washed with a detergent and dried off.
- If the stains are harder or leave stains that cannot be removed with lemon or vinegar, make a paste of baking soda and water and make the inside flash and shine.
- To deodorize the inside while cleaning your microwave, lemon and vinegar easily serve the purpose; coffee beans can be used to make the oven odor free. Coffee is a fanciful odor remover. Leave the coffee beans overnight in the oven to get rid of the toughest odors.
Cleaning the outside:
The outside of the oven can be cleaned with the mixture of vinegar, water and any good cleansing liquid available in the market. You can use a soft cotton cloth dipped in the mixture and wipe the outer surface.
Whenever cleaning your microwave, use safe and natural cleaners like lemon, table salt, vinegar and baking soda that will not harm the outer and inner surface and are free from harsh chemicals.
